ALOHA
From the Hawaiian Island of Oahu
Our first stop was at the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor.
The memorial was closed for a week for repairs and painting,
but we did walk through the museum and hit the gift shop,
of course!!!!!
Mom decided to trade Dad in for a beefcake she found at
the Polynesian Cultural Center gift shop.
Dig them threads BamBam!!!
We were rained on at the Dole Pineapple Plantation....
and Mom dropped her new camera before getting on the
Dole Plantation choo choo train,
but we loved the gift shop!
And here is the view from our Waikiki hotel room.
Did I mention the hotel had a gift shop?
A day of beach hopping.
The waves were just too big and scary for Mom
on this beautiful beach.
Ahhhhhh, that's better!!!
The baby waves were just right at this second beach
for Mom to display her superior aquatic abilities.
The Polynesian Culture Center is the #1 tourist
attraction on Oahu. It's easy to see why!
We spent 9 hours here and enjoyed every minute of it.
Mom wanted to rub the budda's belly, so we stopped
and toured this temple and its gorgeous gardens.
Tarzan ain't got nothing on Sean, our hidden waterfalls
nature tour guide. Not only were the trees amazing,
but so was Sean's head of 3 ft. long dread locks - COOL DUDE!!!!
Our whale watching tour was amazing....complete with
mother and baby humpback whales breaching along side our boat,
and spinner dolphins jumping our wake.
That is the end of our virtual tour. Hope you enjoyed it.
